Modern Belly Dance and American Tribal Style are both are a fusion of dance styles and influences from folklore inspired dances of North Africa, India, the Middle Eastern bellydance and Spanish Flamenco.
We were drawn by the earthiness, strong feminine energy which emerges as dancers connect with each other, moving in perfect harmony, aware of the audience but ultimately enjoying dancing for themselves. It appeared so natural and beautifully hypnotic and we want to be part of that.
